Odell Beckham Jr. has seen his name floated around in trade rumors ever since the 2019 season concluded. But the three-time Pro Bowler has no intention of leaving the Cleveland Browns. After Alex Wood — a pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers — stated that Beckham would be on the New England Patriots in 2020, Beckham responded by saying he has ‘unfinished business' in Cleveland.

On Sunday, the Patriots suddenly decided to ink a deal with former NFL MVP Cam Newton. Once it became official, plenty of fans and media alike were coming up with hypotheticals — including Beckham being traded to New England. Those rumors were ignited when Beckham was seen working out with Newton recently.

Earlier this offseason, it was reported that Beckham had interest in joining the Patriots with Tom Brady under center. However, following a disappointing campaign in 2019, his focus has shifted to helping the Browns emerge from the depths of despair.

Before the 2019 season, Beckham would be traded to the Browns in a shocking move. As a result of his arrival, Cleveland was immediately viewed as playoff contenders in the AFC. Despite the expectations, the Browns and Beckham failed to live up to them a season ago.

The former first-round pick would finish with a career-low 74 receptions for 1,035 yards and four touchdowns. Above all, the Browns would post a dismal 6-10 record in 2019.

Undoubtedly, it would be quite the treat for fans to see Beckham catching passes from Newton. But the electric wide receiver believes Cleveland has something special being put together and he wants to be part of it.
