The NFL's three-day hearing on the Deshaun Watson case ended last week. Now, everyone is waiting for Judge Sue L. Robinson to make the final decision on the quarterback's potential suspension.

There is a possibility that the two sides could reach a settlement, but, according to PFT's Mike Florio, there are no talks ongoing. The NFL is pushing for an indefinite suspension:

“They weren’t able to come close enough [to a settlement] late last week,” ESPN's Dan Graziano said per PFT. “The league is still insisting from what I’ve been told on an indefinite suspension.”

Graziano noted that this would allow Watson to apply for reinstatement after a certain period:

“Initially,” Graziano explained, “they wanted that period to be a year but they moved a little closer to Watson and were talking about, ‘You know, you can reapply after 12 games,' for example. But Watson is still not interested in signing up for that indefinite suspension.”

Now, new revelations are coming out about the case. NFL insider Josina Anderson tweeted the latest groundbreaking updates Thursday morning.

Allegedly, there's a recording of an interview with the adult son of one of the 12 women interviewed in the case. The man claimed that his mom was initially “complimentary” of her experience with Deshaun Watson before she heard of the negative allegations against him:

The NFL didn't say much of the conversation, only noting that the man was interviewed. Allegedly, Deshaun Watson's side reviewed the recording and released the details:

Anderson finished the tweet thread with a huge piece of information that, if accurate, could go in favor of Deshaun Watson's case:

Judge Robinson requested written briefs from both sides in favor of their position by July 11. When she receives them, Robinson will make the final decision on a potential suspension.
