One of the best parts of NFL training camps each year is seeing the unheralded guys who start to shine, and we've seen that with the Cleveland Browns already. In every team's camp, at least one undrafted player starts to make a name for himself.
Maurice Moton of Bleacher Report set out to name one undrafted player who has been turning heads for every team, and he picked Willie Harvey for the Browns.
Moton writes that Harvey, an Iowa State product, has been showing off great energy and hitting hard so far in camp. Harvey was a productive player for the Cyclones in all four of his college seasons, making All-Big 12 Honorable Mention each of the past three seasons.

As Moton notes, “The Browns selected linebackers Sione Takitaki and Mack Wilson in the third and fifth rounds, respectively, so Harvey will have a difficult route to a roster spot.”
On a brighter note, Moton writes that “the coaching staff may plug him into the special teams unit to utilize his quickness and tackling ability.”
He's right in that Harvey's path to a roster spot as a rookie is definitely through special teams. The energy he's bringing to the defense is very important to special teams, and hopefully it can translate. If he isn't able to make the team, it sounds like Harvey is a strong candidate for the practice squad.
