The Cleveland Browns have put forth a huge effort to recalibrate their roster to take a significant push forward after dropping every game this past season. This saw the front office made the move to acquire quarterback Tyrod Taylor from the Buffalo Bills.
Taylor had seemingly become on the outs with the Bills over the last year to the point where he became available in the trade market. According to Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal, head coach Hue Jackson stated that the Browns had outbid several other teams to land him.

He’s led teams to the playoffs and winning seasons. He’s stayed healthy. He hasn’t turned the ball over, and those are things coaches look for. I’m just happy we got him. I know for a fact other teams wanted him, too. I think we’re fortunate to have this guy as our starter.”
Although Taylor had struggled to get a grip hold of the starting job in Buffalo, there are several other teams in need of stability at the quarterback position. It was previously reported that both the Arizona Cardinals and Denver Broncos each expressed interest in acquiring the 28-year-old.
The Browns just happen to present the most lucrative offer by giving up a 2018 third-round pick in this year's draft. Taylor has shown through his tenure with the Bills that he could be an effective quarterback through stretches with his ability to be a dual threat with his arm and legs.
He has an opportunity to step in with the Browns as the starting quarterback with a few intriguing offensive weapons around him Pro Bowl wide receivers Jarvis Landry and Josh Gordon along with running back Carlos Hyde. The franchise may be taking a quarterback with their first overall pick in this year's draft, but Taylor could quickly show that he can lead the team to success in 2018.
