There were a lot of questions when the Dallas Cowboys traded a first-round pick to the Oakland Raiders for Amari Cooper, but after only a few weeks on the team, he seems to be paying dividends. Cooper finished Thursday's game against the Washington Redskins with eight receptions for 180 yards and two touchdowns, with one of those being a 90-yard catch and run that resulted in six. After the game, Cooper said he only has one thing on his mind, proving the Cowboys right.

“I don’t want to prove the Raiders wrong,” Cooper said via Mike Fisher of 247Sports. “I just want to prove the Cowboys right.”

Cooper showed just the type of playmaker he can be, and he looks like a guy Dak Prescott can really lean on when he needs to make a crucial throw.

After the game, Jerry Jones was singing Cooper's praises, saying this is the type of thing they saw on film before they made the trade for the former first-round pick.

“Jack Del Rio told me before we made the trade, he said, ‘Just look at the Kansas City film a year ago,'” Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said, referencing the former Cowboys player and former Raiders head coach. “We just said to hell with it. We’re not going to do anything but throw him the ball. Just look at that, and that will show you what Amari is like. And so this (game) kind of reminded me a little of what (Del Rio) was trying to say.

So far for the Cowboys, Cooper has 22 catches for 349 yards and three scores. If he can keep up this play, Dallas will be the big winners of this trade.
