Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Amari Cooper missed his sixth straight practice on Monday as a result of a bruised heel, according to David Moore of The Dallas Morning News. Cooper has not practiced since Aug. 2.

Cooper is entering his first full season with the Cowboys after arriving in Dallas via trade with the Oakland Raiders midway through the 2018 campaign, as the Cowboys sent a first-round draft pick back to the Raiders in return.

In nine games with Dallas, Cooper caught 53 passes for 725 yards and six touchdowns, and over the course of the season overall, he hauled in 75 receptions for 1,005 yards and seven scores en route to a Pro Bowl appearance.

The 25-year-old, who played his collegiate football at the University of Alabama, was originally selected by Oakland with the fourth overall pick of the 2015 NFL Draft.

He enjoyed a terrific rookie year, playing in all 16 contests snaring 72 balls for 1,070 yards while reaching the end zone six times, making the Pro Bowl as a result. Then, the following season, Cooper participated in all 16 games and registered 83 catches for 1,153 yards and five touchdowns, once again earning a trip to the Pro Bowl.

However, in 2017, Cooper struggled, finishing with just 48 catches for 680 yards and seven scores over 14 games while dropping a lot of passes and hearing boos from the Raiders faithful in the process.

It wasn't until he got to Dallas this past year that he finally got back on track.

The Cowboys are coming off of a season in which they won 10 games and captured the NFC East division title.

They then defeated the Seattle Seahawks in the Wild Card Round of the playoffs before falling to the Los Angeles Rams in the Divisional Round.
