The Dallas Cowboys defeated the New Orleans Saints 27-17 on Thursday Night Football. However, the Cowboys won the game largely on the strength of their defense, as the offense stalled at times. Quarterback Dak Prescott spoke with reporters and in just 10 words, gave an honest assessment of the team's offense.

Prescott made sure to acknowledge that “so many people stepped up”, including lesser known Cowboys such as Tony Pollard and defensive end Carlos Watkins, but that the win didn't go as the team had planned.

Prescott focused in on the offense when telling reporters what has to be better for the Cowboys. The signal-caller implored the team to be more sound and more focused on offense in the coming weeks.

It starts with Prescott himself. The Mississippi State product was excellent against the Las Vegas Raiders on Thanksgiving, throwing for over 370 yards and two scores, but has put up a couple of subpar performances against the Kansas City Chiefs and against New Orleans on Thursday night in the three-game stretch.

Part of the problem for Dallas is that they've dealt with injuries and had star players in and out of the lineup. At full strength, Prescott should have no problem leading this offense to productive outings. Fortunately, the Cowboys will have some extended time to get healthy and heed Prescott's words regarding the offense.

Expect Dak Prescott and the Cowboys to come out with a different focus in Week 14 against the Washington Football Team.
