The Dallas Cowboys finally got back on track with their Week 13 victory over the Washington Redskins following a miserable three-game losing streak. Aside from the weeks prior, this game saw quarterback Dak Prescott connect with wide receiver Dez Bryant in the end zone.

It has been tough sledding for this once promising duo. However, Prescott thinks that they are starting to make progress, according to Jon Machota of the Dallas Morning News:

“It’s kind of obvious that we weren’t connecting, so we just continue to work on it, day in and day out,” Prescott said. “It’s not perfect. It’s not where we want to be, but we’re getting there.”

The 13-yard score was the first time these two have connected for a touchdown in five games. Furthermore, Bryant still has yet to top 100 yards in the entire 2017 NFL season.

The Dallas offense had been insufferable leading up to their primetime divisional game versus Washington. Even prior to the departure of star running back Ezekiel Elliott, the chemistry between these two had been lacking throughout the whole year. However, their dominant win could potentially be what this unit needs to help spark their last push at possibly contending for the playoffs.
