Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is still nursing a calf injury from Week 6 and was limited in practice all week as a result. The team previously listed him as questionable for Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings and it appears it will truly come down to a game-time decision. Via Adam Schefter (per Ed Werder of ESPN):
Per @WerderEdESPN: While Dak Prescott said he anticipated a decision following today’s practice as to whether he or Cooper Rush starts vs. the Vikings, two sources now say it will be a game-time decision. “We are literally going to take it into tomorrow (night),” one source said.

The Cowboys had a bye in Week 6, which gave Prescott some more time to rehab the calf. But, he couldn't practice in full on Friday, which is certainly not a good sign ahead of an NFC showdown. After losing the season opener to the Buccaneers, Dallas has won five straight and is looking like legitimate contenders. By no surprise, Prescott is playing a huge part, throwing for over 1,800 yards and 16 touchdowns in six contests.
The Cowboys signal-caller also has an impressive 73.1 completion rate. If he couldn't suit up in Week 8, backup QB Cooper Rush would get the start. He's only taken one snap all year though and is a clear downgrade from Dak. However, at 5-1, Dallas can afford to rest their franchise star for the sake of his long-term health.
It will be interesting to see what decision Mike McCarthy makes in Minnesota. The Cowboys currently sit in first place in the NFC West and are a mile better than any other team in their division.
