The Dallas Cowboys played unarguably their best game of the season in Week 10 against the Atlanta Falcons. However, Dak Prescott wants everyone to know that is not yet their final form.
Dallas clicked on all cylinders against the Falcons, complementing their lethal rushing and passing game with elite defense that completely overwhelmed the visitors. Atlanta had no chance right from the star, with their comeback hopes all but gone at halftime after Prescott and Co. went 36-3.
In the end, the Cowboys didn't have to do much in the second half as they finished the contest 43-4 for their seventh win of the season.
While it was a complete performance from America's Team, though, Prescott believes they can still improve. After all, their mission is not to be a great team but be a perfect squad instead.
“We can get a lot better. A lot of plays were left out there. A lot of plays for myself. … When you have group like we have … you’re hungry to shoot for perfection. That’s what we’re going to continue to try to do,” Prescott said, per Jon Machota of The Athletic.
This is certainly what Cowboys fans want to hear. While Dak Prescott and Co. were dominant throughout, they need to be always at their best if they want to win in the postseason and take the Vince Lombardi Trophy.
More tests are coming for Dallas, with games against the Kansas City Chiefs, Las Vegas Raiders and New Orleans Saints scheduled in the next three weeks. If they want to prove they are title contenders, they need to win both big and small matches.
