Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott turned 27 years old on Wednesday, but he isn't expecting anything for himself. Instead, Prescott wants to give back.
The two-time Pro Bowler took to Instagram (via Jori Epstein of USA TODAY Sports) to ask for $27 donations to his Faith Fight Finish Foundation, an organization that helps individuals, families and communities overcome adversity.

Prescott's foundation is in honor of his mother, Peggy, who passed away back in November 2013.
The star signal-caller is coming off of a 2019 campaign in which he played every game and threw for 4,902 yards, 30 touchdowns and 11 interceptions while completing 65.1 percent of his passes and posting a passer rating of 99.7.
Prescott will play out the 2020 season on a franchise tag, as he and the Cowboys were unable to agree on a long-term deal by the July 15 deadline for tagged players.
Article Continues BelowThe Sulphur, La. native, who played his collegiate football at Mississippi State, was originally selected by Dallas in the fourth round (135th pick overall) of the 2016 NFL Draft.
Due to an injury to Tony Romo, Prescott was pressed into immediate starting duty in his rookie year and delivered, leading the Cowboys to 13 wins and an NFC East division title. He also made the Pro Bowl courtesy of finishing with 3,667 yards, 23 touchdowns and four picks.
Prescott took a bit of a step back in 2017, but returned to the Pro Bowl the following season after once again leading Dallas to an NFC East crown.
He then had what was surely his best statistical campaign in 2019, but oddly enough, he did not make the Pro Bowl.
