The NFL announced there is a slew of teams slated to watch the workout for quarterback Colin Kaepernick. It appears the Dallas Cowboys are not one of them.

Although they were not among the 11 teams mentioned, there was some talk about the Cowboys potentially taking a look at Kaepernick. According to Jon Machota of The Athletic, team owner Jerry Jones has since dispelled that notion:

“We’re not gonna have anybody there. We’ll look at the tape if we need any information there. We really like our quarterbacks,” Jones said.

Jones' comments are indicative of the confidence Dallas has not only in quarterback Dak Prescott, but backup Cooper Rush as well.

There has been plenty of speculation regarding Prescott's looming contract extension. While the talk has died down significantly since the beginning of the 2019 NFL season, it is still going to be a point of emphasis for the front office to take care of in the near future. While he has endured his fair share of struggles, it is safe to assume that Dallas is confident with locking up Prescott as their long-term starter.

Meanwhile, Rush has been in the system since the Cowboys signed him as an undrafted free agent prior to the 2017 campaign. While his experience pales in comparison to that of Kaepernick's, he is well-acquainted with the scheme and has seemingly done more than enough in practice to show that he is capable of taking over the event of an emergency since he is the only option left on the depth chart.
