Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott did not have a gaudy stat-line during his team's win over the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC Wild Card Round of the playoffs on Saturday night.
He completed 22 of his 33 passes for 226 yards, a touchdown and an interception, good for a passer rating of 83.6.
Solid numbers? Sure. Eye-popping? Hardly.
But sometimes, a player's impact on the game goes beyond the box score, as Cowboys running back astutely pointed out after the win, saying that Prescott played like “a grown ass man”:

As always, Prescott remained humble when asked about Elliott's statement:
“I’m in a young career. I’m three years in. For him to say that … I may have to tell him to not say that again or to wait until later,” Prescott said, according to Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk. “Obviously it’s a great compliment. Obviously it’s a guy we came in together and we’ve been through the ups and the downs of three seasons. Just to be where we are at with this team that we have and this offense that we have, it’s a lot of excitement. It’s a hell of a compliment.”
The highlight of the game was when Prescott scrambled for 16 yards and fell just short of a touchdown after being upended by the Seahawks defense at the goal line in a moment that brought back memories of John Elway's famous helicopter run during the Denver Broncos' win over the Green Bay Packers back in Super Bowl XXXII.
The Cowboys will take on either the New Orleans Saints or the Los Angeles Rams in the Divisional Round next weekend.
