If the suspension of Ezekiel Elliott stands, the Dallas Cowboys will be without their star running back for the first six games of the 2017 NFL season. Predictably, Cowboys owner and general manager, Jerry Jones, isn't happy about the situation.
For the first time since the suspension has been handed down by the NFL, Jones spoke on the subject on the day of Elliott's appeal hearing. The outspoken owner believes there's no evidence to prove Elliott's guilt as he said on 105.3 The Fan, transcription via ESPN's Todd Archer.

The consensus at this point is that the suspension will be upheld with Elliott set to miss all six games. However, stranger things have happened in the past with suspensions being cut in half or docked for a few games.
As for the Cowboys, the team will remain focused on the task at hand. Dallas has one preseason game left against the Houston Texans before heading into the regular season on Sept. 10 against the division rival New York Giants at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
