La'el Collins has spent the first four years of his career with the Dallas Cowboys after joining the team as an undrafted free agent back in 2015. However, it's not looking all that likely that the Cowboys will be able to keep Collins beyond 2019.

Still, the offensive lineman is hoping Dallas can find a way to retain him, as he wants to spend the remainder of his career with the Cowboys.

“I would love to stay in Dallas my entire career,” Collins said, according to Herbie Teope of The New Orleans Advocate. “I love the Cowboys, I love Mr. [Jerry] Jones; I love the Jones family. I love everything about the whole organization and what they’ve done for me as a person and as a player.”

Collins has become an integral pieces along Dallas' offensive line, and over the last two years, he has started all 16 games at right tackle in both seasons.

“For me, it’s just all about going out there and taking it one day at a time, and proving myself, proving my worth, showing them that I want to be there by what I do and now what I say,” he added.

With the Cowboys already handing defensive lineman DeMarcus Lawrence a monster deal and still having to pay offensive skill players Dak Prescott, Ezekiel Elliott, and Amari Cooper, there may not be much money left in the till to keep Collins.

As a matter of fact, Dallas has already seemed to find Collins' potential replacement, selecting Penn State offensive lineman Connor McGovern in the third round of the NFL Draft back in April.
