The Dallas Cowboys are hoping to make a deep playoff run with Dak Prescott under center in 2019. Some people are iffy on Prescott but a certain NFL evaluator believes in the Cowboys quarterback this season.
In an article by Mike Sando of The Athletic, an NFL evaluator believes Dallas could win 12 or 13 games behind Dak Prescott. Sando wrote the article with 55 coaches and executives placing the NFL's quarterbacks in different tiers.
“When they got Amari Cooper, he really ascended,” said the voter, a veteran personnel evaluator. “Throw in the O-line, the running back, they add (Randall) Cobb in the slot, and I think (Tier) 2 could be the low number. I could see them winning 12 or 13 games and having people come back next year saying, ‘Oh, maybe he is closer to a 1.’”
(Prescott is #17 in these rankings, tier 3)
Last season, the Cowboys acquired Amari Cooper before the trade deadline to give Prescott a reliable weapon. With Cooper in the lineup, Prescott drastically improved and won seven out of his last eight games.

This offseason, Dallas added Randall Cobb to join Cooper and Michael Gallup to improve their passing attack. All eyes will be on Prescott in his fourth season and he will need to deliver for the Cowboys.
Regardless, an anonymous NFL evaluator thinks highly of the Cowboys and believes Prescott will lead them to 12 or 13 wins in 2019.
