Heading into Week 6, the Dallas Cowboys are dealing with a bevy of injuries. In addition to missing starting offensive tackles Tyron Smith and La'el Collins, it appears wide receiver Randall Cobb is in danger of missing Sunday's game against the New York Jets. Cobb missed Thursday's practice with a back injury, according to K.D. Drummond of Cowboys Wire.

Cobb's injury coincides with the return of Michael Gallup, a fellow wide receiver. Gallup missed some time with a meniscus injury suffered in week 1, but came back as an important piece of the Dallas passing attack. Ideally, both Gallup and Cobb would be on the field to complement Amari Cooper, but the Cowboys can manage without Cobb.

Dallas has a couple of options to take Cobb's place. First up will likely be the speedster Devin Smith, who replaced Gallup when he went down with his injury. Smith is a pure speed guy who is used to stretch the field, and not much more than that. The second choice will be Tavon Austin, a similar player to Smith. Austin is another speed demon who's primary contributions come on special teams. If the Cowboys want to get a little more risky, backup running back Tony Pollard played some receiver during his time at the University of Memphis.

In all likelihood, it won't really matter who the third receiver is come Sunday. Facing the Jets is an easy game for most teams in the NFL, and the Cowboys are no exception. Expect a heavy dose of Ezekiel Elliot on the ground once Dallas takes a big lead.
