Trevon Diggs and the Dallas Cowboys are feeling themselves after their third straight win and 10th of the season.
After shutting down the New York Giants and winning 21-6 over Dallas' rival, Diggs was asked how well he thinks the Cowboys' defense stacks up with other defenses. His answer was straightforward and confident: Dallas is the best.
How does the Cowboys defense stack up against the other NFL defenses?

Although a win over a Giants team quarterbacked by Mike Glennon isn't a cause for celebration at all, Diggs' confidence in the Cowboys' defense surely extends beyond that. The Cowboys allow just 22.1 points per game, the 12th-best mark heading into today. The team has picked off 23 passes, including three today, and is one of just two teams to record at least 20 interceptions.
Diggs has been one of the premier talents in this unit. He came into today with nine interceptions, which lead the NFL, and 17 passes defended, which ranks second.
Although Diggs' ballhawk tendencies make headlines, so too does Micah Parsons' overall dominance. The rookie linebacker has established himself as one of the best defenders in the entire league. His 27 quarterback hits rank in the top five in the league and 12 sacks are the seventh-most.
One weakness of the Cowboys is that they allow a good amount of yards, as both their passing and rushing yards per play are below average. This is an area that they will need to improve in once the playoffs roll around.
Despite not excelling in preventing yards, the Cowboys' defense's talent for disruption has paired beautifully with their high-powered offense. America's Team looks elite on both sides and has the makings of a true contender.
