Two years ago, Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott had one of the most noteworthy touchdown celebrations in recent memory. That’s when he jumped straight into the Salvation Army’s huge kettle in the end zone after scoring against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at home during a Sunday Night Football showdown.

Today, Ezekiel Elliott and that same Salvation Army kettle got reunited after the former Ohio State Buckeyes star scored on a 16-yard touchdown run to put the first seven points of the game on the board against the Washington Redskins in Arlington. But instead of leaping into it, Elliott did something that made a little bit more sense: he tossed money at it.

For those asking how much Elliott fed the kettle, here’s Brandon George of the Dallas Morning News with the lowdown.

Ezekiel Elliott put $21 in the Red Kettle after scoring the TD for his No. 21 jersey. It was a $1 bill with a $20 bill. And a big smile. Cowboys lead Washington, 7-0.

Elliott is eyeing a solid performance in this rematch with the Redskins. Back in Week 7’s 20-17 road loss to Washington, Elliott only had 33 rushing yards on 15 carries for a pathetic average of 2.2 rushing yards per attempt. He's doing good, so far.
