Detroit Lions defensive end Trey Flowers has been on something of a sack run as of late, having added another to his season total during the fourth quarter of the Thanksgiving Day clash with the Chicago Bears and quarterback Mitchell Trubisky.

The sack forced Chicago to punt, although a short drive from the Lions allowed the Bears time to reclaim the lead with just over two minutes remaining.
After having collected just one sack through his first six games this season, Flowers has reeled off five in his last four games. He notched a sack the previous time that the two teams met during Week 10.
Flowers received a massive payday from Detroit during the off-season ($90 million over five years) after having begun his career with the New England Patriots. His sack Thursday marks his sixth of the year, now giving him four straight seasons of at least six sacks accrued.
