Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Cole Beasley will be a free agent this offseason, and the recruiting process from rival teams around the league has already started. Former Green Bay Packers wide receiver Donald Driver complimented Beasley's game on Twitter on Tuesday and asked Beasley if he would be interested in playing for the Packers.

Beasley is coming off of one of the most productive seasons of his rather modest seven-year NFL career, hauling in 65 receptions for 672 yards and three touchdowns.

The 29-year-old is not going to blow you away with his speed, but he is a sure-handed, reliable wideout and a great route runner who would be a valuable addition to any NFL team.

Beasley, who played his collegiate football at Southern Methodist University, went undrafted but landed with the Cowboys in 2012. He has been a steady contributor among Dallas' receiving corps ever since, quietly catching 39 passes for 368 yards and a couple of touchdowns during his second season and following that up with 37 catches for 420 yards and four scores in 2014.

Beasley's most impressive year came in 2016, when he snared 75 balls for 833 yards while reaching the end zone five times, all career highs.

The Packers could certainly use some help at wideout, as Davante Adams was Green Bay's only consistent wide receiver throughout the 2018 campaign.

Green Bay went just 6-9-1 this year, missing the playoffs for the second straight season. It marked the first time since 2006 that the Packers had failed to qualify for the postseason in back-to-back campaigns. In 2017, the Packers went just 7-9.
