The Green Bay Packers won their season opener against the Chicago Bears on Thursday night, but it was their defense that shined for a change, leading the Packers to a 10-3 victory at Soldier Field.
On Friday morning, Fox Sports analyst and former Packers wide receiver Greg Jennings expressed his disappointment in Green Bay's offense, saying that this was not what he was expecting from the new-look unit:
"This is not what I was anticipating or expecting from an Aaron Rodgers led offense with a Matt LaFleur new scheme. I was very disappointed."

The Packers logged just 213 total yards and only managed 13 first downs. Their ground game was virtually non-existent, as Aaron Jones recorded a meager 39 yards on 13 carries.
As for Aaron Rodgers? He was okay, completing 18 of his 30 passes for 203 yards and a touchdown to tight end Jimmy Graham, but it was simply a lackluster effort overall.
The Packers' offense was also uncharacteristically tame in 2018, ranking just 12th in yardage and 14th in scoring, so the addition of Matt LaFleur as head coach was supposed to change things.

To be fair, the Bears have one of the best defenses in the NFL, so they obviously deserve some credit for the Packers' dismal offensive output, but there is no denying that Green Bay's offense was pitiful as a whole on Thursday evening.
This marks the second straight season that the Pack has opened up with a win over the Bears, although last year's victory came at Lambeau Field. Of course, Green Bay is hoping this season ends up turning out quite a bit differently.
Green Bay will now head home to take on the Minnesota Vikings next Sunday.
