BetOnline.ag has released their over/under win totals for the 2019 NFL season, including the Green Bay Packers. It is set at 9 1/2 wins. They're +110 to finish with more than that, and -130 to go under.
This shouldn't come as much of a surprise. The Packers struggled last season, finishing 6-9-1 and not making the playoffs. While that record would make you think a 9 1/2 over/under seems high, it still makes a lot of sense.
Green Bay may not have looked great last week, but they do have an ace up their sleeve. You know, that one guy: Aaron Rodgers.
Green Bay's downfall could be their division though. The Chicago Bears were incredible last year behind an elite defense. Meanwhile, the Minnesota Vikings could make waves with a solid all-around roster, and the Detroit Lions are always a wild card.
Article Continues BelowThe Packers still have quite a few holes. They need help in the running game and could use some more weapons and protection for Rodgers. On defense, they could use help at basically every position.
With all that in mind this makes sense, especially when considering the lines. The Green Bay Packers are getting +110 to finish with over 9 1/2 wins. That means it's not as likely it will happen. The -130 to finish with under 9 1/2 wins means it is slightly expected that they'll have another down year.
This will be an interesting team to bet on. You can't count the Packers out as long as Aaron Rodgers is on the field. He could easily lead any team to a 10-plus win season. However, the roster around him means there's very little room for error if that's to happen.
