The Green Bay Packers have had a disappointing season, but Aaron Rodgers can still break an NFL record on Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons. Rodgers only needs 23 pass attempts without an interception to break the NFL record for completed passes without an interception.

Rodgers has thrown 366 passes in a row without an interception, the second longest streak in NFL history. New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady currently holds the record at 358.

Rodgers was asked about the feat on Wednesday by Bill Huber of Packer Report, and the future Hall of Famer took a jab at him for trying to jinx it. Rodgers didn't seem to put too much pressure on breaking the record but admitted it would be nice to take away something from such a bad season.

“For this season, being 4-7-1, it’d be a nice little nugget to take with me,” Rodgers said via PackersWire.

Rodgers only has one interception on the season, and that came week four against the Buffalo Bills on a deflected pass. Through 12 games Rodgers has thrown 21 touchdown passes and just one interception. If he was not to throw an interception the rest of the year, he would smash the record for attempts without an interception, and would also break the record for touchdown to interception ratio in a season.

It will be interesting to see what type of gameplan the Packers use on Sunday against the Falcons. With Mike McCarthy gone and not calling plays, there is no question the offense will look at least a little different and will probably have a few new wrinkles.
