Arizona Cardinals wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins continues to troll the Houston Texans for their inept managerial decisions and poor culture.
Hopkins quote-tweeted the Cardinals' tweet commemorating his first season in the desert, with the caption “[And] they said I'm only worth a 2nd rounder.”

The caption is an obvious allusion to the shocking trade that sent Hopkins to Arizona.
Former Texans head coach and general manager Bill O'Brien stunned the NFL world last March by sending the three-time All-Pro to the Cardinals in exchange for running back David Johnson in addition to a 2020 second-round pick and a 2021 fourth-round pick.
The deal was almost universally disparaged and was essentially the first big step towards O'Brien's eventual dismissal.
Hopkins certainly made the Texans look foolish. He finished in a tie for second in receptions (115), also ranking third in receiving yards (1,407). The Texans, meanwhile, dealt with injuries in the receiving corps and were further depleted due to Will Fuller's suspension.
Article Continues BelowArizona looks like a team on the rise while Houston is in utter turmoil. Deshaun Watson has said multiple times he has no intention of playing another season with the Texans. He is receiving support from former Texans receivers Andre Johnson and, of course, Hopkins.
Johnson shared a tweet suggesting Watson hold his ground. Hopkins quote-tweeted Johnson, saying “When Dre speak listen.” The former Clemson standout also responded to a recent Watson tweet about loyalty.

Hopkins might be with a new franchise, but he seems intent on making his old team the butt of every joke.
