Despite already clinching the AFC South title, Bill O'Brien shared his intentions of playing his starters in Week 17. On the other hand, Deshaun Watson has “no idea” if he'll play versus the Tennessee Titans on Sunday.
"I have no idea." – Deshaun Watson on whether or not he'll have the day off vs. #Titans. Watson says he isn't expecting it and wants to play. #Texans

The Texans' young quarterback expects to play, but it doesn't seem as if it has been made official. At the least, Watson seems anxious to be under center when Houston takes on the Titans to finish the season.
Following the narrow victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last week, the Texans clinched their fourth division in O'Brien's six years as the head coach. The Texans actually do have a chance to improve their seeding in the playoffs in Week 17.
If Houston is able to defeat Tennessee and the Kansas City Chiefs lose, then the Texans would propel themselves into the No. 3 seed in the AFC. With the Chiefs playing before the Texans, Houston will know their fate before their game kicks off.
Therefore, O'Brien could have a change of heart and choose to rest his key starters on Sunday. At the same time, he could decide to play his starters to ensure that the Titans aren't able to sneak into the playoffs as a Wild Card team.
Regardless of whether or not Watson plays, he's had another spectacular season with the Texans. The Clemson product has thrown for 3,852 yards, 26 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions.
Most importantly, Watson has been able to maintain his health despite being sacked 44 times (tied for 10th most in the NFL). The last thing that the Texans need before the playoffs begin is an avoidable injury to Watson in Week 17.
