When Deshaun Watson takes the field for the Houston Texans, it is must-watch television. The NFL shares the same sentiment by naming Watson the AFC Offensive Player of the Month for October.
The Texans have had a few injuries and changes on their roster but the one constant has been the play of their franchise quarterback. Houston is second place in the AFC South at 5-3 with Watson being a majority of the reason why they are in a position to make the playoffs.
During the month of October, Watson completed nearly 73 percent of his passes for 1,293 yards, 10 touchdowns, and four interceptions. The electrifying quarterback has also rushed for 167 yards and two touchdowns as well. Furthermore, there wasn't another quarterback in the AFC who threw for six touchdowns.
Above all, the Texans have won three of their past four games, outscoring their opponents 134-110. Dating back to his days in college at Clemson, Watson has always found ways to win games.

After getting kicked, Watson actually adjusted his helmet in the middle of the play before he made the throw. That play (among others) is a perfect illustration of how special Watson is and can be.
This is Watson's second career player of the month award after winning it in October 2017.
