The Houston Texans have had a very interesting offseason. And in the eyes of many, interesting does not mean good.
It all started when the Texans traded away superstar wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins to the Arizona Cardinals. In return for Hopkins and a 2020 fourth-round pick, Houston received running back David Johnson, a 2020 second-round pick and a 2021 fourth-round pick.
They then sent a 2020 second-round pick to the Los Angeles Rams in exchange for a 2022 fourth-round pick and wide receiver Brandin Cooks.
While Cooks is very good, a lot of people believe they overpaid. Especially considered what they got for Hopkins.
Due to that, many are confused about the direction of the team going forward. And former NFL quarterback Dan Orlovsky believes a few teams should try and capitalize on that.
Specifically, Orlovsky believes the Miami Dolphins and Las Vegas Raiders should see if they can scoop up quarterback Deshaun Watson for Houston.
If I am the @MiamiDolphins or the @Raiders I’m calling the @HoustonTexans and offering 2 of my first round picks for Watson. Why the heck not-the way things are going I wouldn’t be shocked.

Could Texans Trade Watson?
Watson is considered one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. And he's still just 24, so his best football is ahead of him.
However, he's entering the last year of his rookie deal. And with the Texans trading away their best player in Hopkins, that brings up a few questions.
Are they considering restarting already? If so, they might not want Watson anymore and might be interested in trying to get a few first-rounders for him.
More importantly though, does Watson want to be there anymore? A lot of people felt Watson wasn't happy with the Hopkins trade. Although Houston brought in Cooks and Randall Cobb to try and make up for the loss, it's impossible to replace the star that is Hopkins.
If Watson has already made it clear he doesn't want to sign a new deal with the Texans, they might decide it would be better to get something for him instead of letting him walk.
Not only that, but as Orlovsky points out; with the way things are going in Houston, who would be shocked?
They've made a few head-scratching trades lately. So what's the harm in asking for Watson? Worst case scenario is they say no. And both Miami and Las Vegas have been rumored as being interested in getting a new quarterback. It's hard to find many better options than a 24-year-old who's already considered one of the best in the NFL.
