Houston Texans defensive end JJ Watt doesn't have an answer to the team's awful start to the season.
The Texans dropped their latest contest to a then-winless Minnesota Vikings squad that was able to have their way with the Houston defense.
Watt gave his statement on the team's current state following the loss, via Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle.
“All I can do is control what I can control,” a disappointed Watt shared. “I’m going to try to find a way to get a win. This is terrible. It’s brutal. It’s depressing. This sucks. I don’t know any other way to put it.”
JJ Watt finished the game with three tackles as the Texans fell to the Vikings, 31-23, on Sunday.
For what it's worth, Houston hasn't even began to excavate the issues that hinder them from their first win of the season.
Texans head coach Bill O'Brien has tried to will his way into having more of a voice on the offensive side of things, stating before the game that becoming more involved would be one of his focal points going forward. Yet, after falling once more to a Vikings team that didn't pose much of a challenge, O'Brien may find himself in the hot seat in the weeks to come if things don't turn around soon.
Deshaun Watson had a decent outing for the Texans against the Vikings, and he has also stated that he won't allow the winless season to become a distraught in terms of how he approaches the game.

The Texans are in a dangerous situation if they don't make adjustments quickly. They'll have another shot at redemption in Week 5 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
