More bad news for the Houston Texans. Safety Justin Reid, one of the team's lone bright spots this season, has been ruled out for the remainder of 2020 due to a hand injury he suffered in Sunday's Week 14 loss to the Chicago Bears.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported the news on Monday night.

Justin Reid, a 2018 third-round pick, was seen exiting the field with just under two minutes remaining in the second quarter. He briefly returned to the field in the second half.
The 36-7 loss at Soldier Field dropped the Texans to 4-9 on the season. With the team out of playoff contention with three games remaining, there's no reason to rush their star safety back into action.
In 12 games this season, Reid has recorded two sacks, six tackles for losses, four hits on the quarterback and 79 tackles for the Texans.
Article Continues BelowAfter he shined in Houston's 27-20 win over the New England Patriots in Week 11, Texans interim head coach Romeo Crennel praised the 23-year-old safety.
“He wants to make plays all the time,” Crennel said. “And I tell him just make the plays you're supposed to make, and he was making plays today. He was down around the line of scrimmage and in the intermediate throwing areas, he was there tackling. He made a good contribution to the victory.”
The Texans still have games remaining against the Indianapolis Colts (Week 15), Cincinnati Bengals (Week 16) and the Tennessee Titans (Week 17).
