At this time last season, Andrew Luck was working his way back from a shoulder injury. This offseason, a calf injury has caused some issues for the Indianapolis Colts quarterback.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Andrew Luck will miss at least one more week of practice. So far in training camp, Luck has struggled to get on the field.

During the offseason programs, Luck was absent from OTAs and minicamp due to a calf injury he suffered in April. So far in training camp, Luck has only been on the field for three of the Colts' practices. Although, in those practices, Luck was only throwing and doing light-cardio work on the side.

As everyone knows, Luck returned in 2018 after missing the entire 2017 season with a shoulder injury. In his return, Luck returned to being a top-tier quarterback in the NFL.

Luck was given the NFL's Comeback Player of the Year Award after throwing for 4,593 yards and 39 touchdowns. In 2018, the Colts also finished with a 10-6 record and advanced past the AFC Wild Card round after defeating the Houston Texans.

Now, this season, getting Luck back to being one-hundred percent on the field. While Luck is out, Jacoby Brissett will take the snaps with the starters. Luck is already ruled out for the Colts' first preseason game against the Buffalo Bills.

When an injury is associated with Luck, Colts fans become nervous as they understand the importance of their franchise quarterback. In the end, Luck knows his body better than anyone and the Colts will be cautious with him moving forward.
