Contrary to what some fans may believe, coaches and players in the NFL typically have other hobbies outside of football. While coaches and players look to pass time during the coronavirus pandemic, Frank Reich—the head coach of the Indianapolis Colts—commented on his side gig outside of coaching.
During an appearance on the “Dan Patrick Show,” the Colts coach revealed that he sometimes officiates weddings (via Akeem Glaspie in the Indianapolis Star):
“I probably officiate one wedding every two or three years,” he said. “I really enjoy doing that. It's a lot of fun.”
Besides being a successful coach, Reich is an ordained pastor, allowing him to officiate weddings. Later this year, Reich said that he'll be officiating one of his assistant's weddings.

While Luck got married in Prague, he returned to the United States soon after. Upon his return, Reich—as an ordained pastor—was able to help finalize some wedding documents.
In the past two seasons, Reich has helped turn the Colts into a tight-knit group that's won 17 games. Off of the football field, he's used his bonding skills to help couples begin their lives as newlyweds.
While it's early in his coaching career, Reich seems to be headed toward a successful career with the Colts. However, if his coaching career comes to a halt, you may find him officiating more weddings in the future.
