Indianapolis Colts quarterback Jacoby Brissett did not play during his team's loss to the Miami Dolphins this past Sunday due to an MCL injury, but he could return for the Colts' Week 11 matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars next weekend.

It all depends on how Brissett looks in practice on Wednesday:

“If Jacoby is healthy, he’s our starting quarterback obviously, and he’ll go,” said Colts head coach Frank Reich, per Kevin Bowen of 107.5 The Fan. “We are optimistic that the rest was helpful. We’ll get to Wednesday and see how he’s doing, but we are encouraged and optimistic. He’ll get as many reps as he can (on Wednesday). I’m not going to try to make any secret about it. I’m really not. If he’s practicing on Wednesday and taking a full practice, at that point, we will say we are ready to go, he’s our starter (for Sunday against the Jaguars), but we’ll wait until Wednesday to make that determination.”

The Colts' offense has been ravaged by injuries this season.

They lost No. 2 wide receiver Devin Funchess to a broken collarbone in Week 1, and top wide out T.Y. Hilton was sidelined in Week 10 against the Dolphins due to a calf issue.

Both Funchess and Hilton are trying to make their way back along with Brissett for this Sunday.

Indianapolis is in desperate need of a win, as it fell to 5-4 with its loss to the lowly Dolphins in Week 10 and is one game behind the Houston Texans for first place in the AFC South.

Not only that, but the Colts are currently just a half-game in front of the Tennessee Titans and one game ahead of the Jaguars.
