The Indianapolis Colts may finally get a fully healthy season out of one of their former first-round picks. Malik Hooker seems to be in a good place health-wise this offseason.
The Colts safety was at a Colts charity event recently and said he's “feeling the best he's felt since college“. Hooker was selected by Indianapolis with the 15th overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.
After leaving Ohio State, Hooker received two surgeries before coming into the NFL. He had surgery on a sports hernia and a torn labrum in his hip.
The talented safety is heading into his third season with the Colts and is hoping to play the length of the season by staying healthy. In 2017, Hooker started in six games and brought in three interceptions and 21 total tackles. Hooker would have his season cut short after tearing his ACL and MCL in his right knee.
