Andrew Luck had a huge year coming back from injury. Many didn't expect him to be so dominant after struggling with injury and consistency over the past few years. His performance was unexpected and he proved to be excellent for the Colts.
The Colts came out of the regular season with an unprecedented run. They won seven out of their last eight games and won four straight. From Weeks 4-12, Luck threw three or more touchdown passes in eight straight games. This was the longest streak in the league this past season and tied for the second-longest in the history of the NFL itself.
He ranked in the top-five in the NFL in passing touchdowns, attempts, completions, and yards Luck on the season threw for 4,593 yards with 39 touchdowns and only 14 interceptions. His completion percentage was a very high 67.3 percent and his quarterback rating sat at a 71.5, both the highest marks of his career.
Luck is also only the third player in Colts franchise history to be named AP Comeback Player of the Year. He joins kicker Jim Martin (1963) and running back Lenny Moore (1964).
The Colts on the season went 10-6 and finished 2nd in the AFC South Division. Their offense averaged 27.1 points per game, which ranks 4th overall in the entire NFL. Even though Luck only seemed to have T.Y. Hilton as an endzone threat, he was still able to lead the team to the playoffs.
