Indianapolis Colts linebacker E.J. Speed blocked a punt by the Tennessee Titans. The ball was recovered and returned for a touchdown a moment later by cornerback T.J. Carrie.

The return was not only the second consecutive score for the Colts, but the second mishap for the Titans' special teams unit in as many series. Following a shanked punt for 17 yards by newly-signed punter Trevor Daniel, Indy found themselves with favorable field position, inside of Tennessee territory, and promptly scored in four plays to take their first lead of the night.

Originally placed on the practice squad, Daniel was assigned to the active roster following the placement of All-Pro punter Brett Kern to the injured reserve list for a damaged wrist. Though Daniel was said to have outplayed fellow punter Ryan Allen during practice, gaining the starting nod Thursday night, his performance thus far is likely to necessitate a change.

The Colts retain their 10 point lead heading into the fourth quarter.
