Despite the Kansas City Chiefs' impressive campaign thus far, star defensive linesman Frank Clark hasn't exactly been in top form on an individual level. In spite of his current slump, however, the Pro Bowler does not seem to be overly concerned about it.
According to Clark, the most important thing to him right now is how the Chiefs are continuously stacking up the victories:
“To me, I care more about winning,” Clark told reporters on Friday, via Charles Goldman of Yahoo Sports. “A player like myself, a few other players in the room, when you see success, it’s nothing new to you. I’m used to winning, I’m used to achieving all the numbers, the sacks and all that stuff.”
Fair point from Clark here. Nonetheless, the fact that the 27-year-old has recorded just a single sack in the past seven games still remains a bit concerning.

“So, getting another sack, getting another 5, 10 sacks ain’t nothing new to me,” he added. “I’ve been there, I’ve done that. The only thing I haven’t done is win two Super Bowls. The only thing I haven’t done is play the season and go 15-1. We want to finish as strong as we can.”
Clark and the Chiefs return to action on Sunday against the Denver Broncos, and this should be a good opportunity for the Kansas City DE to bounce back from an individual standpoint.
