LeSean McCoy is making his Kansas City Chiefs debut, reuniting with head coach Andy Reid after their time together with the Philadelphia Eagles.

In his first game for the Chiefs, McCoy pulled off this impressive shake-and-bake rush against the Jacksonville Jaguars in the fourth quarter.

McCoy was among the shocking players released by teams when the Buffalo Bills cut “Shady” after the preseason more than a week ago. McCoy spent four seasons with the Bills, earning three trips to the NFL's Pro Bowl and rushing for over 3,800 yards and scoring combined 30 rushing and receiving touchdowns in Buffalo.

Excusing the aging running back—McCoy turned 31 years in July—the Bills opted to go with 22-year-old third-round pick from the 2019 draft Devin Singletary. Besides the FAU product in Singletary, the Bills also have veteran Frank Gore rostered.

McCoy's tenure in Philly under the Reid years was a prosperous one. His first six years were spent in an Eagles jersey—four of which occurred simultaneously with Reid's head-coaching tenure. McCoy rushed for 3,866 yards in those four years, averaging 4.6 yards per carry and scoring 30 touchdowns as a rusher. He also gained over 1,500 yards as a receiver and found the end zone on eight different instances.

McCoy is just one of the many offensive weapons for Reid with reigning NFL MVP Patrick Mahomes under center. Mahomes had an injury scare in the Week 1 matchup with the Jaguars, limping off the field in the first half before he reappeared in the game. Meanwhile, wide receiver Tyreek Hill left the game with a shoulder injury, which could led to a greater workload for the new Chief in Shady.
