Besides the issue pertaining to his feet, Antonio Brown has issues with what helmet he will be wearing in 2019. The Oakland Raiders wideout wanted to speak to the NFL about his helmet situation in the near future.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Brown had his grievance hearing on Friday. The meeting lasted two hours, and there was no immediate decision made by the arbitrator.

The NFL has ruled that Brown's current helmet is “too old” and is outdated for gameday. Despite the NFL's stance, Brown is insisting on wearing the same helmet he has worn since coming into the NFL. So much so, that he has threatened to walk away from football if he can't wear his helmet per Schefter.

The Raiders All-Pro wide receiver believes that the helmets given to him intrude on his vision to catch the ball. So far, Brown hasn't taken a liking to any of the models of helmets given to him.

The past week has been quite the whirlwind for Brown and the Raiders as it was found out he had frostbitten feet due to a cryotherapy mishap. The Raiders offseason acquisition has missed practices with the team to the dismay of Jon Gruden.

This situation is an unusual one as NFL players rarely complain about the equipment they are wearing.

Over the past couple of seasons, Brown has developed quite the image as a dramatic, selfish receiver. That image is becoming more cemented as he continues to create theatrics with his new team.
