Oakland Raiders wide receiver Antonio Brown added another chapter to his neverending book of eccentricity on Friday, arriving to training camp via hot air balloon.

No; seriously.

Raiders head coach Jon Gruden could only laugh at Brown's choice of vehicle, saying that he expects more of the same from the seven-time Pro Bowler moving forward:

“I expect a lot more drama from No. 84. I really do,” a chuckling Gruden said, according to Josh Schrock of NBC Sports Bay Area.

As a matter of fact, Gruden even felt the entrance was a bit tame for Brown's standards:

“He's a fun guy to be around, man,” Gruden said. “I expected a little more than a hot air balloon. I thought he might jump out of an airplane and parachute himself in. He's going to add a lot of life to this organization at a position where obviously we need some explosive plays.”

But it wasn't all fun and games for Brown on Friday, as it was announced later that day that the wide out would be hitting the non-football injury list due to what has been called a minor issue.

Brown is expected to join his teammates in practice soon.

Oakland acquired Brown in a trade with the Pittsburgh Steelers back in March, sending a third-round draft pick and a fifth-round to the Steelers in exchange.

Brown was part of a massive offseason haul for the Raiders that also included big names such as Trent Brown, Tyrell Williams, Lamarcus Joyner and Vontaze Burfict.
