Since the news dropped that Antonio Brown wasn't at practice with the Oakland Raiders due to being unable to wear his helmet, there were laughs throughout the media. Jon Gruden hasn't found any of the situation to be humorous and says that Brown's helmet grievance is “no laughing matter”.

A few weeks ago, there was a story that bubbled in Oakland that Brown had frostbitten feet from a cryotherapy machine. The wide receiver confirmed those reports by sharing a gruesome picture of his feet.
Along with his frostbitten feet, the All-Pro wide receiver was also in the midst of a controversy involving his helmet. The NFL disapproved of Brown wearing the helmet he had worn his entire career; saying that it no longer was among the approved helmet models that could be worn.
The model of Brown's helmet was a Schutt Air Advantage but the exact helmet he was wearing was made over 10 years ago. Nonetheless, Brown filed a grievance against the league to allow him to wear his longtime helmet.
After denying his grievance, the NFL told Brown to find the same make of the helmet but one that was made within the last 10 years. Since then, Brown has searched long and far for a helmet that he feels comfortable wearing in 2019.
The former Pittsburgh Steelers receiver found one that fit the description given by the NFL but it was deemed as a helmet that couldn't be worn. Following their disapproval, Brown filed another grievance against the NFL for not giving him a grace period on the helmet.
Then, on practice on Tuesday, Brown was present in practice with the team—with a helmet on his head.
Despite the apparent helmet, Brown still has a grievance to allow him to wear the helmet he found.
