Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald and Atlanta Falcons running back Todd Gurley are no longer teammates. With the Rams recently releasing the veteran running back, Gurley then wasted absolutely no time in signing a deal with his hometown team in the Falcons.
However, Gurley did not leave Los Angeles peacefully as the former Georgia Bulldogs standout has continued to troll the Rams on social media.
Gurley initially took a seemingly innocent shot at his now-former team on Instagram by commenting on one of the NFL’s post by saying, “@rams thanks for the check today.” Then, on Sunday evening, Gurley was back at it again on Instagram while this time posting a meme about getting back money owed to you.

Gurley remains in an excellent position both on and off the field as the former Rams rusher, and Falcons newcomer currently stands to earn $7.5 million from Los Angeles and another $6 million from Atlanta in 2020-21. As for the Rams as a whole, Los Angeles will be forced to eat more than $20 million in dead salary cap space due to parting ways with Gurley. With the veteran running back winning once again, he will yet again be able to test the free-agent market next offseason en route to potentially cashing in once more.
Gurley remains in pretty good spirits despite being released, but how could he not as he continues to garner some serious cash.
