Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp has spent the offseason nursing a torn ACL he suffered during the 2018 NFL season. Fortunately, he appears to be in good spirits at this point in his recovery.

Recent reports suggest that he is on track with his timeline. Regardless, according to ESPN's Lindsey Thiry, Kupp is taking things one day at a time.

“I can't predict how I'm going to feel even a week from now,” the 25-year-old said. “But the way that things are going, I'm happy with the way that things are trending. Each week there's progress.”

It is clear that both Kupp and the Rams are taking a cautious approach with his recovery. This is certainly understandable considering he had dealt with knee problems throughout last season. It ultimately resulted in him sustaining the torn ACL in Week 10 and he has been sidelined ever since.

Kupp has etched out an integral role in the Rams' high-powered offense since his arrival prior to the 2017 campaign. He has developed quite a rapport with quarterback Jared Goff and it has paid huge dividends on the field. He had served as Goff's No. 1 target before the injury. As a result, he still mustered up 40 receptions, 566 yards, and six touchdowns in just eight games.

There is no question that Kupp's presence was heavily missed down the final stretch of the season. The Rams' primary concern moving forward is ensuring that he is as healthy as possible by the time the 2019 NFL season rolls around.
