After multiple blockbuster trades and one major free agent acquisition, the Los Angeles Rams appear to be going for it all in 2018. The additions of Brandin Cooks, Marcus Peters, Aqib Talib, and Ndamukong Suh have thrust the Rams into the spotlight after an impressive 2017 campaign in Sean McVay's first season as head coach.

Although the Rams have significantly improved their chances of being a Super Bowl title contender next season, defensive tackle Michael Brockers doesn't want his star-studded squad to let the hype get the best of them, via ESPN's Alden Gonzalez.

“I don't want to make it bigger than it is,” said Michael Brockers, the Rams' third starting down lineman. “We've brought in tremendous talents, but at the same time, we still have to put the work in. We can't fall into the hype. We just have to put our heads down and continue to grind.”

With this team playing under the bright lights of Los Angeles and being dubbed by many as one of the best all-around teams in the NFL, it will be easy to fall into the hype as Brockers mentions. The Rams will have high expectations next season as they try to take their next step from a playoff squad to the team to beat in the NFC.

On paper, the revamped Rams squad is as good as any team in the league. The offense should come back strong once again with the addition of Cooks taking quarterback Jared Goff's development to another while the defense is arguably the best in the NFL with Aaron Donald and Suh leading the way.

Only time will tell if the Rams can live up to expectations and not read too much into the hype surrounding their team filled with All-Pro-caliber talent on both sides of the football. If the Rams can stay focused, a trip to the Super Bowl may very well be on the horizon next season or in the near future.
