The future of Odell Beckham Jr. is still up in the air. After winning his first Super Bowl title with the Los Angeles Rams, OBJ is now a free agent. His second ACL injury, however, has complicated things for the star wide receiver.
What has become clear, though, is Beckham has grown fond of Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford. And on Monday, OBJ took to Twitter to stan the veteran signal-caller, calling him “the real deal.”
Stafford is the real deal….i don’t think much gets talked about that but being there and seein this Shxt up close ! Dude is truly different ! No 🧢

The 29-year-old Beckham was definitely a beneficiary of Stafford's brilliance. After a forgettable stint with the Cleveland Browns, OBJ immediately resuscitated his career as one of Stafford's primary targets. In their short span together, Beckham and Stafford connected on seven touchdowns, including the NFL Playoffs.
The storybook ending to OBJ's season, however, was hampered by his second torn ACL in as many seasons. In some cruel twist of fate, it happened just moments after scoring a touchdown for the Rams in the Super Bowl. He admitted that he was deeply frustrated with yet another setback. But judging by his latest comments on Stafford, it looks like he's in high spirits again.
Various reports have indicated that Beckham will re-sign another short-term deal with the Rams, who are also expected to bring back the title-winning core next season. After all, coach Sean McVay has found plenty of success with his wards.
Stafford, at 34 years old, masterfully revived his career with the Rams, and that should be another motivation for OBJ to bounce back once again.
