Odell Beckham Jr. admits he's still in pain after a dream Super Bowl run with the Los Angeles Rams quickly turned into a “nightmare.”

Beckham sustained an ACL injury in the second quarter of their Super Bowl LVI showdown with the Cincinnati Bengals. He was on his way to a fantastic performance in the contest, having already scored a touchdown and caught two passes for 52 yards, before the injury happened.

The 29-year-old wideout missed the final two quarters of the game and has since underwent surgery to repair his knee. However, OBJ still can't move on from the emotional and metal pain of the injury, and understandably so. It was his moment, and it was taken away from him by the injury.

“Man!!! Y’all forgive me! Some days my energy just hasn’t been there! Tryna let this Super Bowl Shxt go man, my heart still aches. Thankful but that was a dream, only to turn into a nightmare. I’m comin back around ! Preciate the fkn luv.. fr,” Beckham wrote on Twitter.

Odell Beckham Jr. remains a free agent this offseason as he works his way to making a full recovery. He is still expected to be ready in time for the 2022 season, and when that happens, several teams are expected to inquire about his services.

Sure enough, he might be interested in running it back with the Rams, who have already expressed their interest in re-signing him. In fact, Los Angeles is considered to be the frontrunner to sign the veteran wideout.

For now, though, that is the last thing in Beckham's mind as he hopes to get over his injury and the heartbreak it caused him.
