It didn't take long for Tyreek Hill to want to prove himself to his new team. Shortly after getting dealt to the Miami Dolphins, the All-Pro wide receiver and self-proclaimed fastest man alive was raring to challenge Jaylen Waddle to a race.
Hill hinted at such during an interview in March just after the Dolphins move was announced.
Via Kevin Patra:
“I'm going to talk to him, we're going to chop it up, we're even going to get a few workouts in. Maybe even a race, man,” Hill said Thursday, chuckling. “Because hey, wherever I go, the Cheetah, he's always got to prove he's the fastest on the team no matter what. I mean that.”
But Jaylen Waddle isn't backing down. In fact, the Dolphins sophomore claims he was expecting it all along in a recent interview on the I Am Athlete podcast.
“I already knew this was coming. I'm literally in the middle of a workout and my trainer comes and says, ‘Man, y'all just got Tyreek Hill. … But the next day, I say I know he's going to try to race. Let me get on these legs real quick. … I already knew that was coming. I don't if it's going to be like in front of people, though.

No matter who wins the race that's bound to take place, the real winners are Miami Dolphins fans. Having two potent threats in the air is going to be tough to stop in South Florida.
