The Miami Dolphins are definitely open for business and Kenyan Drake seems to be the next player on their way out. According to Cameron Wolfe, Drake didn't travel with the team to face the Pittsburgh Steelers and is likely to be traded.
Dolphins RB Kenyan Drake did not travel with the team for Monday night’s game vs. Steelers. He’s not injured. It’s a clear sign that he’s likely to be traded before Tuesday’s deadline. Dolphins have been hoping for a midround pick in return.

The NFL trade deadline is on Tuesday and the Dolphins have already spoken to multiple teams about Drake. Currently, it appears as if a mid to late-round pick will be enough to bring in the versatile running back.
Dolphins have had trade talks with multiple teams involving Kenyan Drake, who is not viewed as part of teams long-term future. Both sides prepared to move in different directions, and a contender could nab Drake for a Day 3 pick.

With the Dolphins being in a rebuilding stage, Drake doesn't fit into their plans for the future. Therefore, it's wise for them to acquire more draft capital to fill out their roster in the future.
The Dolphins selected Drake with the 73rd overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft out of Alabama. The Alabama product didn't receive a prominent role in the offense until 2017.
From 2017-2018, Drake combined for 1,895 yards from scrimmage on 338 touches and 13 total touchdowns. Furthermore, he started in 13 games over that span and was by far the most talented running back for Miami.
Nevertheless, the team hasn't utilized Drake in the same capacity that he was being used in previous seasons. Through the first seven weeks, he has started in just two games and has gotten just 348 yards on 69 touches.
With injuries occurring, there are plenty of teams who could use some depth at the running back position. Also, teams who have their sights on the playoffs could add another weapon like Drake to provide a boost to their offense.
