After missing the Miami Dolphins' Week 9 home game against the Houston Texans due to his finger and rib injuries, quarterback Tua Tagovailoa made his return to action in the Week 10 clash with the Baltimore Ravens.
As Jacoby Brissett suffered a minor knee injury during the first half, Tagovailoa entered the game in relief and led the team to a pair of scoring drives in the fourth quarter en route to a 22-10 upset home win.
Now, heading into the Dolphins' upcoming Week 11 road clash against the New York Jets, Tagovailoa is progressing well from his middle finger injury on his left hand. In speaking during a press conference ahead of the game, he kept it simple with his update on the finger injury.

Dolphins head coach Brian Flores noted following his team's Week 9 win over the Texans that Tagovailoa did not play in the game because of limitations the quarterback would have faced due to his finger injury. Now, the former Alabama Crimson Tide star does not see that he will be limited at all this week.
“Obviously there’s still healing that’s taking place,” Tagovailoa said. “But other than that, it’s fine.
“I don’t think there are going to be any limitations for this Sunday with the finger. I think it feels good at this point. We should be good.”
As noted, the Dolphins quarterback is also dealing with a rib injury. He did also add that he has not yet fully recovered from this notable injury.
The Dolphins will look to make it three wins in a row with a possible win over the Jets this week.
