Kirk Cousins takes his turn as the poorest quarterback in the NFL. He's more likely getting jeers from Minnesota Vikings fans as much as other fans whenever he's on the road.
However, he's seemingly learned how to cancel those noises out and focus on what he can do on the field. He's turned away all forms of criticism thrown at him.
Cousins was interviewed by Mike Craig of the Star Tribune and asked him about his thoughts on the impact harsh criticisms given by pundits and fans have on his game. Surprisingly, he claims that he isn't aware that people are giving him flak for playing poorly on the football field.

And the texts they send me you would think somebody died. ‘Hey man, I’m thinking of you.’ Boy, it must not be good out there if that’s what they’re texting me. So I honestly don’t see it so I think that helps.”
It's true that he's not the worst QB option there is out there. If he was, he wouldn't have started in every game for the past four seasons. However, his numbers don't inspire that much hope, either.
In the four games he played, he's had 735 passing yards and three TDs. In addition to that, he's already thrown two interceptions. He's en route to matching his figures last season.
This is not the QB the Vikings hoped they would get when they signed him. He played so terribly last game that Cousins actually apologized to his wideout.
He needs to improve his game or he will see himself without a team sooner than later.
